A Koreatown studio, a Sherman Oaks one-bedroom, and more

↑ At $1,400 a month, this one-bedroom apartment in Hollywood is renting at 15 percent less than the median apartment of the same size, Zumper says. Good to know. The unit is on the upper floor of a four-unit building on a low-key, one-way street, the listing says. The apartment is about 750 square feet, has hardwood floors, a walk-in closet, and is currently being “refreshed” for the next tenant. There’s street parking only, which is described as “competitive but doable.” Rent is $1,400 for one tenant; tack on an extra $140 a month for an additional renter.

↑ This Koreatown unit is a couple of blocks south of the Wilshire/Vermont station. The redone studio apartment up for grabs has fancy counters, a walk-in closet, and hardwood floors; the kitchen appears to include a built-in microwave as well as a stove and fridge. The building has laundry facilities, but no on-site parking. There’s also a policy of pet-friendliness (cats and dogs). Rent is $1,350.

↑ This Sherman Oaks apartment adjacent to the 405 freeway is in a large complex that brings the perks: swimming pool, on-site laundry, covered garage parking. The one-bedroom renting here has a balcony, stainless steel appliances, and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. (The photos are of a similar unit.) Rent is $1,495.

↑ Located in the Little Armenia section of East Hollywood, this one-bedroom apartment has an updated bathroom and kitchen (stove and fridge included!), granite countertops, hardwood floors, and it comes with reserved parking for tenants. Rent is $1,495.

↑ Just about two miles up Lankershim from the North Hollywood Red and Orange Line stations is this two-bedroom apartment. At about 865 square feet, the apartment is pretty standard, though it does have a balcony, a walk-in closet, and two bathrooms. The complex has a swimming pool and tenant parking. Rent is $1,500 a month, which is about 36 percent less than most similarly-sized apartments in this neighborhood, Zumper says.
