That’s more than $2,000 per square foot
When last on the market, in November 2013, this Venice bungalow was the epitome of nondescript. Since being purchased for $810,000 that year by renowned art photographer Kathy Suder, the Grand Boulevard cottage has been significantly reworked and gussied up, now endowed with a vaulted woodbeam ceiling, a more open floor plan, a fur-covered swing in the living room, and a graffiti-esque exterior paint job. There’s also new built-in storage and seating.
What hasn’t changed is the bungalow’s official floor space, which still measures 732 square feet. Though maybe it feels much larger than that when you’re on the swing? At any rate, it’s now been listed with an asking price of $1.495 million, or $2,042 per square foot. Open house is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
